Ok so my big news of well, quite a while, is that I got a car! Yes, and not just any car but my dream car. So my sister and I drove in Poetry going 65mph with the top down and the music up (dont laugh it wasn't all that cold), hair blowing all that jazz. (well rock actually).

Yesterday I went to a leadership conference and it was amazing. Do you ever feel like God's preparing you and is just about to let you loose...yeah thats pretty much what I feel right now, so I'm just listening and waiting....and driving of course.

So on to Starbucks!

I had a good quote to go here, and I have forgotten it...gosh.

I seem to see a trend thing going on with the question answer things in xanga land....I will not yeild to this trend one because I prefere to not follow the crowd, and secondly because I flat out do not have time. This post is merely a break in time to procrastinate doing doing my chemestry project for fifteen minutes longer. (and I've talked myself into believing that at this moment in time, time is stopped) right.

so this weekend was productive, movie with three of the best guys in the world, shopping, surprise parties, rally night, its all great.

Can't wait till Wednesday, its my favorite day. after this week my shedule changes...yipee! Well I feel time begining to creep up on me so I shall return you to your regurarly sheduled program....gosh, I'm getting worse.

Ok so I've got a funny story. Yesterday I'm heading out to Poetry Texas when I pull over to answer a call from Rachel, and the car starts making an unusual noise and when I put it in park it dies...so I'm thinking "Great". Restarted the car drove several more yards when I smelled the very distinct smell of burning rubber...and a very noisy motor. Ya, at this point I'm thinking "this can't be good". So I pulled over again and started making phone calls and of course no one is answering their phones, so I called Rach back to see if her dad was hope to help, no, then I called the Rush's who told me that Jonathan would be out. Jonathan got one step further than me in that he could actually lift the hudd up. After that we proceeded to Rachel's house where I hung out for about 4 hours until my dad called. He came out to rescue me and he got in the suburban and I got in his car and followed him to his house, where we left it to go to Autozone to pick up the new alternater and belt. We put it on, I picked up tacos, and we started the suburban only to find that the alternater they gave us was no bueno. So after repeating the later part of this process I finally had a working car again and went to pick up the rest of the family. It was a good day. (really God totally blessed me in several areas during my first car trouble adventure)!

The end.

Have a great day! Smile!

My brother and sister are arguing over which tv show to watch, zack thinks he's king of the remote, and the only issue in his little kingdom is his kiniving(sp?) big sister (the littler big one) who is convinced she's queen, so they duke it out by the pool until one of them falls in and then they truse and play some sort of water game until their lips turn blue and they have to come in and take a hot bath and drink hot chocolate, because contrary to popular be;ief, its not all that warm in Florida!

So now that I've won the award for the longest run on sentence.....

Today we went to the beach. They had this blow up slide thing, and because I'm a little weiry(sp?) of small places, I kind of chickened out and stayed behind while Lindsey and Emme slid, but they got sand in their mouths so I still think I got the better end of the deal.

I love my family...really I do, and I'm loving being in Florida and experiencing some new things....but I very sincerly miss my texas family (aka my youth group ect). Those of you who commented on my last post, thank you so much, it made my day.

I think we too often miss what life is all about. Sometimes we get so busy and even though we stay in touch with God, we are always pushing Him aside when its on our time. Today As I was walking on the beach in search of the perfect shell and holding a small yellow flower. It was so quiet and all I could hear was the waves, wind, and my family laughing several hundred feet away. Then I listened closer and I heard a crunching sound, so I looked down at my feet and under my right foot was a large pink shiney shell, it would have been a beautiful shell if I had not just crushed it. So I walked a while longer and relized how many times does God give us the perfect oppurtunities, or just the right friends and we're too busy looking for our own idea of perfect to see what he's put right in front of us. Well something for you to ponder....

Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight!

Always, Autumn
